Celebrating our 6th Birthday …

This month we are celebrating our sixth birthday. It has been a real pleasure working with our many amazing clients over the last six years. Light the Fuse recently conducted a survey which aimed to explore respondents usage of their mobile device while travelling abroad, attitudes towards the associated cost and methods used (if any) to avoid exorbitant roaming charges. Interesting statistics from BT that re-enforce the findings of our own recent survey on international roaming usage …   However the infographic does gloss over the biggest concern expressed by international travellers (and a dependency for the app to be truly low cost), low cost internet access. From our recent survey, 80% of European respondents were either Extremely or Very Concerned over the cost of accessing the internet from their mobile device, while travelling abroad.  Combining a low cost data roaming service such as Globalgig or Voopii with SmartTalk (or even Skype, TuGo, Viber and many others) would further reduce the cost of using …
